ImageThe underwater city of Cleopatra Located in the Eastern harbor of Alexandria.  The city lies both inside and outside the harbor (Pharos island - part of the royal quarter). The city collapsed and fell into the sea after several earthquakes.  The most unique feature of our dives is the fact that they are historical.  We dive to visit the past and to touch monuments that belong to the most famous characters of the world such as Alexander the Great, Ptolemy, Cleopatra, Caesar and Mark Antony. All these monuments are in one place, between your hands.  Come and visit, see and touch what their hands have touched and created thousands of years ago.

Heracleon underwater city
Located in Abo Kir, the eastern end of Alexandria. The story is related to the exploration of Heracles in the Mediterranean and the dramatic return of the heros from the Trojan war. Heracles left his name to the town Heracleon and also to the Canopic mouth of the Nile, otherwise known as Heracleon mouth. According to Herodotus, there was a temple for Heracles at the mouth of the Nile (during the Trojan war) and that this temple was still standing when he - Herodotus - passed by that area in 450 BC. This temple was connected with the guardian of the said mouth whose name was Thonis.

It was regulated by King Amasis-son-of-Neith (570-526 BC) that the Greek traders were obliged to submit to the police controls and to pay taxes to the house of the king at Thonis .Thonis was described by Diodorous Siculus as "the former emporium of the Egyptians", but after the foundation of Alexandria in 331 BC., the city automatically lost its strategic & economic importance.
